PRODUCTION DESCRIPTIONS

Air Duct - Designed to be mounted in the bumpers or other parts of the body for the purposes of diverting air to the engine or brakes.

Air Scoop - Designed to be mounted in the bumpers or other parts of the body for the purposes of diverting air to the engine.

Canard - Attaches on your bumper or on other body parts of your vehicle. Most canards are universal and must be altered for specific applications.

Carbon Fibre Plastics (CFP) - A very strong and lightweight fibre-reinforced polymer which contains woven strands of carbon fibre. Our special chemical polymer is made to ensure the optimal combination of flexibility, durability and weight savings. All Aero Function Carbon Fibre Plastic parts come standard with seven layers of UV-inhibiting automotive and marine grade clear coat to ensure the beauty of our parts lasting many years.

Complete Kit - Includes a front, side, and rear complete ground effects package for your vehicle. Some complete kits with more pieces include wings, hoods, etc. Please refer to the different parts available within each complete kit and the actual product located in the production description.

Conversion - Converts the front end of your vehicle into a different style. Most conversions replace the whole front end of your vehicle including front bumper, front fenders, hood, and lights. Most conversions require extensive body work and are recommended for the hardcore enthusiasts. Please refer to the production description for more details.

Door Caps - Attaches over the doors to match the lines of the SS.

Eyebrows - Attaches on top of the head lights and look like eyebrows.

Engine Cover - It is the engine cover (hood) replacement for rear engine cars.

Fender Flares - Attaches to your front fender and rear quarter panels to give a widebody look to your vehicle. These are NOT replacement fenders. Usually comes in pairs.

Flush Mount - Wing/Spoiler which attaches flush on to the trunk of your vehicle.

Front Add Ons - Attaches below the front bumper or on the bumper without removing the OEM bumper or bumper cover. Usually comes in Multi-pieces.

Front Bumper - Replaces the front OEM bumper cover or the complete bumper. Removal of reinforcement
bars may be required.

Front Lip - Attaches below the front bumper or on the bumper without removing the OEM bumper or bumper cover.

Front Fenders - Replacement Front Fenders or Widebody Fenders for your vehicle. Usually comes in pairs.

Glass Fibre Komposite (GFK) - A strong, lightweight and robust material made of milled and cross-woven fibres.
Through this proprietary process, this material results in excellent flexibility and durability. Our Glass Fibre Komposite products come standard with a double-layered signature gray primer to ensure the preparation process is minimized while providing a superior finish when completed.

Grille - Replacement front grill between your bumper, headlight, and hood area. The other grilles are used universally on your fender for styling purposes.

Hatch - Replaces your factory OEM hatch. Usually refers to 3DR and 5DR vehicles.

Head Light Covers - Are used for styling that covers your headlights.

Hood - Replaces your factory OEM hood. Most hoods come with all hardware needed to install hoods. Some will
require your factory OEM hardware for installation. Hood pins are recommended.

Hood Pins - Used for extra reinforcement. Some hoods are extremely light for race purposes and hoods pins are used for extra reinforcement.

Hood Scoop - Bolt-on or mold-on scoops that attach to the hood.

Mesh Grill - Used to cover the space between and/or openings on your bumper and side skirts for styling purposes.

Midwing - Attaches to the rear mid-level of your vehicle. These wings are designed for hatchback and wagon vehicles.

Mirrors - Pair of side mirrors in different styles other than OEM. Some are manual while others are powered.

OEM - Original Equipment Manufacturer. These are your factory parts that came with your vehicle.

Polyurethane Plastics (Pur Rim) - Injection molded plastics consisting of our unique proprietary chemical blend, giving our parts an optimal mixture of flexibility and stiffness with incredible impact absorption qualities.

Rear Add-Ons - Attaches below the front bumper or on the bumper without removing the OEM bumper or bumper cover. Usually comes in Multi-pieces.

Rear Bumper - Replaces the rear OEM bumper cover or the complete bumper. Removal of reinforcement
bars may be required.

Rear Lip - Attaches below the rear bumper or on the bumper without removing the OEM bumper or bumper cover.

Rods - Used to attach spoilers, splitters, or diffusers to the vehicle's body.

Roof Scoop - Bolt-on or mold-on scoops that attach to the roof of your vehicle.

Roof Wing - Attaches on top of the rear window.

Side Skirts - Attaches over or replaces the rocker panels below the door. Comes in pairs.

Side Skirt Add-Ons - Attaches below or on the rocker panel without removing the OEM rocker panel -
Usually comes in multiple pieces.

Splitters - Attaches below your front, side, and/ or rear bumpers/panels for maximum downforce. Most splitters come universal and must be altered for specific applications.

Spoiler - Rear wing/spoiler usually attached onto your rear trunk. Different styles are attached differently.

Tonneau Cover - Covers your truck bed entirely when referring to truck vehicles. For sport compacts, it is used to cover headrest area for convertibles.

Trunk - Replaces your OEM factory trunk. Usually refers to 2DR and 4DR model vehicles.

Vertical Door Kit - Replaces your factory door hinges for a "Lamborghini" door look. Does not come with a door.

Wide Body Kit - A ground effect kit that includes fender flares or wide fenders and 1/4 panels. These kits require
extensive body work. In some cases wider tires and wheels are required to fill the wider fenders. Wide body kits
are recommended only for the hardcore enthusiasts.

Wing - Rear wing/spoiler usually attached onto your rear trunk. Different styles are attached differently.

INSTALLATION DIFFICULTY

Levels of difficulty is a subjective scale of 1 to 5 to describe ease of installation of each ground effect and wide body kit listed in our catalog, with 1 signifying ease and 5 very difficult. Most fiberglass products are rated at a difficulty level 3 which means a moderate level of difficulty.

2DR - 2 door or coupe models.
3DR - 3 door or 2 door hatchback models.
4DR - 4 door or sedan models.
5DR - 5 door or 4 door hatchback models.
HB - 3 door for hatchback models.
